First bit of the animation for my summer project...

(Almost) Finished Caps



Finished roughing out all the caps today. Hopefully going to move on to first bit of animation tomorrow.

Zenit-E






As well as Graphic Design I'm a keen photographer and often use it in lots of my design work. Here are some images taken with a film SLR, the Zenit-E. This is my favourite camera, especially because I can play around with exposing the film as you can see! I'm a great fan of colour, so this risky experimentation produces vibrant light leaks which I love.

Experimenting some more with After Effects.

The idea for this came from this picture I took last year using a Zenit E analogue camera. I also manipulated it in the darkroom adding the text.

Step Out of the Gloom

I am attempting to teach myself Adobe After Effects primarily for motion graphics work. This is something I want to feature heavily in my work next year so I'm getting a head start this summer holiday and trying to learn some basics. This is my first attempt at some moving text.

I'm starting this blog primarily to track my own work progress, as I study for my degree in Graphic Design. It will also be a place for showing things (not just design) that I admire and want to share with any who will read. Don't expect too much writing, I like things nice and simple! I hope you enjoy what I hope to be at least a slightly interesting addition to the blog world :)
