I have a new project for Imperial Leather to design packaging and promotion for the Limited Edition range. Focusing on the theme of 'Twisted Fairytale'. I'm still only at the very very early stages of my experimentation. I am thinking of giving each of the four products a character, more specifically a seductress type female from legends/myths/folklore etc. So far I've been working with mermaids, sirens, nymphs, and Lilith from the bible. Just a few for the mermaids so far, not sure yet whether I'll stay on this path or not...

Made a cake for my mother! :)
Vanilla with white chocolate frosting and passionfruit curd.

Had the first workshop with Sam Meech yesterday and it was incredibly fun!
We will eventually be creating some moving image pieces using archive footage from the North West Film Archive. Yesterday we watched some footage and made some smoothies. What do smoothies have to do with film, I hear you ask? Well it was to show how varied people's responses can be from the same ingredients, just as our final outcomes are likely to be!
My smoothie?: orange, celery, corriander & beetroot. Tasty.

New brief: book covers for A Clockwork Orange, Brave New World, 1984 & Fahrenheit 451.
I'm working with the theme of forboding in the books so I've decided to play with shadows. I really like doing in-camera graphics, so this seems like the perfect theme! These are just some initial photos that will eventually be used on the covers themselves.
